Those were happier times. We hoped the zombies would freeze solid if we kept going North. But winter was a far worse foe. Frostbite and illness dramatically cut our numbers in the first 3 months. half of what was left died in the next couple of weeks. Now only a small band of us remain.... Cold and hungry... And like the zombies, we too now, are eating human flesh...
