ever tickling fish? i guess you sit in a river just off the bank and have ur hand out, slowly creeping up on the fish, you then tickle its belly until relaxes and then WHAMO! you snatch the sleepy thang. i guess MarkTwain even mentions it in a poem

sounds kind of like "noodling". walk along river bed sticking your arm into holes until a catfish chomps down and you pull it out.
