should we have up and down votes? forgotten man c would have been voted down by the people that didnt like him.. which would immediately take his draw off their view. others who had a filter to only show draws with votes bigger than -2 or whatever they choose, wouldn't even see it, it would just have a small line like "below vote threshold (click to expand)" and they could see it. yeah. yeah. yes. howahyou

then things that got lots of votes recently could automatically be on the recent highlights page

up and down voting, i worry about the down. i agree about changing the front page, i've had a number of layout designs ready, there's a major change to the galleries that i'm hoping to get done asap before i can do it. i'd like to change the highlights, possibly to just the last image drawn, or a draw of the week or month or day, something different

the main idea is to change the format to be more about collections of images, some best of collections, themed collections, series collections, etc. more about the points of interest to view on the site, and easy ways to find them, links links links to images images images

oh wait sorry this was about up and down votes. no wait was this about liking ethermonkey's draw? damnit
