i've always had to draw in if i wanted it. pixel by pixel. i might have to ebay an old assed mac...

i mean, maybe it's in the processor or the way the java is handled? but i never had it do that on my pc

messes up fills unless you use a bigger line (i dont think the larger lines are aliased or whatever)

ok thanks for clearin that up...so when you zoom in in the app, you can see the effect already?

depends on what browser you are using for the mac. Safari lets you draw lines without anti-aliasing, but when you switch to larger brushes it slows the fuck down to syrup speeds. Firefox draws small lines with anti-aliasing, but when you use the fill you get the annoying white dots, also Firefox gets a little slow when you are zoomed in. Thats what I've noticed, could just be for my little macintosh. And yes, macs do handle java differently, from what I understand it is currently being sorted out.

i didn't realize any of this was mac related, i just thought some of you knew some other tricks . .
